With the summer holidays nearly upon us, I’m sure parents will be looking for fun ways to entertain the kids. Well help is at hand as The Grand Opera House is due to present its first ever Family Festival from Tuesday 4 – Thursday 6 July.

The Festival has a wide range of activities for children and young people and their families. As well as a wide range of workshops such as a Street Dance Workshop, a Young at Art storytelling session and a Peter Pan drama workshop! The building will also come alive with circus performers, face painters, balloon modellers, a treasure hunt as well as a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of Northern Ireland’s oldest theatre.
